The INCOSE Michigan Chapter is hosting a SysML v2 Tool Vendor Showcase on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Engineering Society of Detroit. Virtual attendance will also be available, and we are organizing watch parties with other INCOSE chapters. This Is Not a Typical Vendor Demo Day Each participating vendor was given one of two automotive engineering challenges — an EV Battery Management System or a Power Window Controller with anti-pinch safety compliance — and asked to build a complete SysML v2 model over the past two months.
On June 6, they will walk through their models, demonstrate their tools, and then do something that has rarely been attempted at this scale: import each other’s models and show what survives the round-trip.
Confirmed Vendors: Celedon Solutions (Davinci) Sensemetry (SysIDE) Sysmodeler Dassault Systèmes Dalus Mgnite Additional vendors have been invited and confirmations are pending. What to Expect: Morning Sessions: 35–40 minute vendor demonstrations, each using their challenge model to walk through requirements, structure, behavior, parametrics, and tool-specific differentiators. Both scenarios are grounded in real automotive problems relevant to Michigan’s engineering community — from battery thermal management and CAN bus interfaces to FMVSS 118 anti-pinch force thresholds and motor current modeling.
Afternoon Interoperability Showcase: This is where the event stands apart. Vendors will present the results of pre-event cross-tool model exchanges: what transferred, what didn’t, and what the current state of SysML v2 interoperability looks like in practice. This is a collaborative exercise, not a competition — the goal is to give the community an honest picture of where the tools stand today.
Why Attend If you are evaluating SysML v2 tools, planning an MBSE transition, or simply want to understand where the new standard stands, this event will give you more actionable information in one day than months of vendor webinars. You will see the same engineering problems modeled side-by-side in competing tools, with real interoperability data — not marketing slides.
For those who attended our sold-out SysML v2 3-Day Bootcamp with Dassault Systèmes in April, this is the natural next step: apply what you learned to critically evaluate the tools available to you.
How to Attend In person: Engineering Society of Detroit, 20700 Civic Center Drive, Suite 450, Southfield, MI 48076 Virtual: A livestream link will be provided to registered attendees Watch parties: We are coordinating with other INCOSE chapters to host regional watch parties. If your chapter is interested in hosting one, please contact us.
